Addendum to the News
So Gockel's burned down... and last night it was still smoldering so they had fire hoses on it all day (water pressure was really bad this morning! :/) Yesterday, they started bulldozing the place so here are a couple of pictures we got of the place:

It's hard to believe that Gockels burned down! Not that it was a fantastic place,and the prices were super high... but it's been around for so long; it was nice to run down there when you needed something last minute- well, can't do that anymore!! :) It is rather sad.

I'm sure the business opportunity of a new grocery store in this town will NOT be overlooked! ;)
We last-minute shoppers will have a place to run to again soon, methinks. :)
